When you're sick, you can't workout, or at least not optimally. If you do choose to train, you run the risk of prolonging your illness and not recovering very well from your training session.
When you have the flu you also have a tough time stomaching lots of nutritious food, and your nutritional decision making ability goes out the window.
Basically, when you're sick, you're not making progress. Since helping people make progress is what I do, I would like to share some simple home remedies that have proven to be VERY effective in fighting off colds, flu's, and even what I suspected to be strep throat.
Disclaimer: I am NOT a doctor, and I was not diagnosed with strep. It was nasty though, and incredibly painful. The recommendations I am making are meant to help you fight off a cold or flu while resting and recovering at home, and do not replace actual medical attention should you need it.
The next time you're sick and wishing you were in the gym, try these out. Knock that cold/flu out fast and get back to crushing your goals.
