I was admittedly a bit of a wild boy at the time.
I still don't think the label "lost cause", slapped on me by my Boss was completely appropriate.
When he blessed me with that particular label, it stung. Mainly because I felt the same way about myself.
Over the years I've hung onto that label- breathing life into it and keeping it alive.
Wondering if I'd maybe there isn't a nugget of truth in there somewhere.
But but then I hear my fitness clients talk the same way about themselves.
"I'm lazy" or "I have no willpower" are two of the most common ones I hear from people.
Let's do this together.
Instead of keeping these limiting labels and beliefs alive by running from them, looking back every now and then to wonder if they'll ever catch and devour us...
... let's own these labels.
Then smash them to pieces.
And we'll do that by doing the things on a daily basis that prove these ideas wrong.
Have no willpower? Show up and crush it every single day.
Lazy? Get up off your butt right now. Show yourself that's a false concept, and let it fade away.
Me? The lost cause... I'm just going to focus on getting better every single day.
