To get what you want requires a change in your habits. Why are habits so important?
Each habit you currently have has a powerful gravitational pull. This is good or bad, depending on what your habits are.
If you have habits that are destructive to you achieving your goals and your vision for yourself, this powerful gravitational pull is pulling you in the wrong direction.
On the flip side, if you develop habits that are constructive to your goals and vision, once these habits are established and developed, you are now free to enjoy the gravitational pull in the RIGHT direction.
When Apollo 11 made its way to the moon, it too had to fight the gravitational pull of earth before it could make any headway to it's destination.
They spent MORE energy travelling the first 3-4 miles while fighting earths gravity than they spent in the next half million miles.
We experience a similar challenges when we first decide to change our habits. The first 3-4 miles of our journey are by far the most difficult, because this is the time we are replacing destructive habits with powerful and productive new habits.
It can feel daunting, overwhelming, like we'll never make it to our destination.
Getting through the first 3-4 miles is tough. This is the time in your journey where a great coach can make all the difference in whether or not you make it through the initial stages of habit change. Having a coach guide you initially is like strapping a turbo charger to your rocket ship.
