I get this question a lot, and I get that.
You want to make sure you're on the right path. The path that will take you from point A to point B.
But here's the thing. The best way to workout.... barbells vs dumbbells vs running vs kettlebells vs body weight...
...is the one that makes you feel the way you want to feel.
Because this whole fitness, progress and evolution thing is about feeling the way you want to feel.
Here's what I mean.
Let's say you work hard and eat right and finally get those lean abs you've been after. The magic isn't in what your new abs can do. It's about how they make you feel. When you get those abs you'll feel lean, sexy, attractive, svelte.
If you build big, strong arms, you'll feel strong, powerful, confident, like you can protect yourself and your family.
It's all about that feeling. And you should pick your training method the same way.
If swinging around a kettlebell makes you feel like a badass, train with kettlebells.
If picking a barbell up off the floor or pushing it over your head makes you feel strong and powerful, then train with barbells.
If running makes you feel amazing, then run.
If doing push ups, pull ups, jumping and sprinting makes you feel agile and athletic, then do that.
People don't quit before they reach their goal because they picked the wrong type of exercise. They quit because they aren't doing something that makes them feel the way they want to feel.
So train in a way that makes you feel like you're on your path. And I promise you, this is the move.
